PS - Plant Quality Control - Band BTA (Quality Control)

Location: Tabler Station Plant; onsite role with 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, overtime, and call-in availability.

Salary: $23.05–$30.77 per hour. The posting also lists an annual range of approximately $57,000–$73,000 with built-in overtime.

What you will do

• Collect, label, analyze, and record results for raw materials, intermediate products, finished goods, packaging materials, and development samples.
• Perform physical measurements, wet chemistry, chromatography using GCs and HPLCs, compendial testing, and microbiological testing.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments, troubleshoot routine issues, and assess the accuracy and reliability of analytical results.
• Track results, perform trend analysis, identify problems, and report findings to supervisors.
• Write SOPs, deliver training, conduct system health assessments, and provide on-the-floor coaching.
• Facilitate or participate in quality-system failure investigations and coordinate priorities with Production Leads during night and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Two-year or higher degree in a science field, or five years of experience in a QC laboratory or GMP manufacturing operations.
• Experience with basic laboratory operations, including weighing, titrating, preparing volumetric solutions, dilutions, aliquoting, and routine calculations.
• Ability to interpret analytical, microbiological, and safety procedures using standard scientific terminology and measurements.
• Ability to resolve operational or process failures, determine root causes, and develop improvement plans.
• Computer literacy, including standard software such as MS Office, and ability to learn laboratory software and instrumentation.
• Availability for 24/7 rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and call-in work; immigration sponsorship is not available.
