What you will do
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients and families seeking addiction or mental health treatment.
- Handle high-intent inbound calls and build trust through empathetic, confident, and professional communication.
- Conduct admissions assessments and collect demographic, clinical, and insurance information.
- Explain treatment options and levels of care while helping prospective patients overcome barriers to treatment.
- Coordinate with admissions, insurance verification, and clinical teams to facilitate timely admissions.
- Maintain accurate CRM, EMR, and call-management records while managing follow-ups and multiple active admissions opportunities.
Requirements
- Native or C2-level spoken English is required, including clear pronunciation and confident communication with U.S. patients and families.
- Professional experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, mental health services, healthcare admissions, patient access, insurance verification, healthcare call centers, or sensitive consultative sales.
- Excellent organization, time management, follow-up, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
- Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm during sensitive, high-pressure conversations.
- Strong computer proficiency, ability to learn new technology quickly, coachability, and personal accountability.
- Availability to work on a schedule aligned with Central Time.
Nice to have
- Experience with behavioral health or addiction treatment admissions, including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, or outpatient environments.
- Experience with commercial health insurance and insurance verification.
- Experience with Salesforce, CRM platforms, EMR systems, or call-management platforms.
- Previous U.S. healthcare experience.
