TL;DR
Sterilization Technician (Dental Equipment): Sterilizing dental equipment, preparing and distributing dental instruments and supplies, and maintaining student kits and inventory with an accent on autoclave operations, equipment tracking, and biological testing. Focus on operating ultrasonic cleaners and autoclaves, conducting DART tests, and ensuring instruments are properly prepared for clinical procedures.
Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Salary: $17.78 per hour

What you will do
- Dispense clinical supplies, materials, and dental instruments.
- Prepare procedure packaging, consumable packaging, and student kits.
- Barcode equipment and use computer systems to track check-in and check-out activity.
- Maintain instrument inventory and replace instruments in student kits.
- Sterilize dental equipment, transport instruments for autoclaving, and return them to the work area.
- Operate ultrasonic cleaners, handpiece cleaners, washers, and small and large autoclaves; conduct biological and DART tests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Completion of a criminal history investigation and verification of credentials is required.
