Certified Athletic Trainer / Injury Prevention Specialist - PRN

Location: On-site in Ladson, South Carolina, United States. PRN schedule as needed, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Develop and implement early intervention programs, including comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations, OSHA-compliant first aid, and injury prevention education.
• Conduct physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead individual and group training in functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Coordinate care with on-site medical and safety teams and recommend workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, outcomes, and patient health records accurately and on time.
• Participate in meetings, task forces, and other assigned activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the contract scope of services.
• Experience in occupational health and safety and knowledge of current OSHA regulations are preferred.
• Experience in ergonomics is preferred.

• Ergonomic Specialty certification.
