Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

Base pay: $24.66–$29.47 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect and measure parts, components, and assemblies within the assigned area.
• Document inspections and qualifications using established procedures and formats.
• Identify and help resolve quality issues across assigned ORV product lines.
• Initiate reports for non-conforming materials and coordinate prompt dispositions and corrective actions.
• Develop or improve inspection procedures to reduce inspection time and prevent defective products.
• Work with production and other departments to achieve effective problem resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or specialized training is preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, basic and advanced mathematics, and statistical process control.
• Ability to operate critical measurement and test equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, process routings, bills of materials, and technical manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided.
