Network Engineer (Routing and Switching)

What you will do

• Develop and implement new WAN solutions for business needs.
• Design and support Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing environments.
• Work with internal WAN team members and external partners to implement network solutions.
• Apply advanced routing, traffic manipulation, and multiple-protocol interaction concepts.
• Drive projects through completion while proactively communicating issues and adapting to changing priorities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of network and/or telecommunications engineering experience; the role targets professionals with 10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• CCNP-level certification knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including OSPF, BGP, routing protocol interaction, traffic manipulation, and multicast.
• Strong systems-level understanding across information technology, plus excellent communication, data management, and project follow-through skills.

Nice to have

• Cisco IOS XR experience or exposure.
• Ability to learn new processes and work with changing project priorities.
