CDL A Local Delivery Driver with Hazmat

Location: Hopkinton, Massachusetts, United States; local deliveries only, home every night.

Salary: $25–$30 per hour, plus potential bonuses.

What you will do

• Make safe, complete, accurate, and on-time local deliveries using efficient routes.
• Load and unload vehicles, secure products, and separate hazardous materials appropriately.
• Collect payments and complete accurate delivery documentation.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable while developing product and job knowledge.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license; HAZMAT endorsement is preferred.
• At least 21 years old.
• Motor Vehicle Record and Pre-Employment Screening Program results showing no more than two combined violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Tractor-trailer and box-truck experience.
• Familiarity with PCs and material-handling equipment.
• Moffett, Skelly, or air-brake experience.
