Escrow Officer (Real Estate)

Location: Onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Pay range: $24.42–$32.56 hourly

What you will do

• Complete real estate escrow transactions and determine transaction requirements.
• Establish and manage escrow accounts, account for funds, and disburse them according to contracts and company policy.
• Act as a neutral liaison between transaction parties while monitoring and mitigating company risk.
• Prepare escrow status reports, closing statements, and legal documents.
• Examine property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents.
• Record and file closing documents and complete settlements.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of escrow-related experience.
• Direct experience handling escrow transactions; escrow assistant experience is preferred.
• Valid state-required licensing or certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong decision-making, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new software and proprietary programs.
