Engineering Technician I - 3rd Shift (Electrical, Mechanical, and Environmental Testing): Performing testing on prototype, existing, and competitor products with an accent on electrical, mechanical, environmental, and electromechanical functions. Focus on setting up test equipment, interpreting measurement data, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and maintaining ISO 17025-compliant laboratory documentation.

What you will do
- Set up test equipment and products according to approved procedures.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, environmental, and electromechanical testing on prototypes, existing products, and competitor products.
- Use measurement instruments and accurately record scientific, temperature, pressure, and other test data.
- Assemble and fabricate test equipment and prototype products from blueprint specifications, including following bills of materials.
- Support manufacturing troubleshooting and maintain test documentation in database systems.
- Prepare test reports and support laboratory audits and 5S workplace organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical techniques and theories.
- Ability to use mechanical, electrical, and electronic measurement instruments.
- Demonstrated testing competency in accordance with ISO 17025 and the Laboratory Scope of Operations.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work non-standard or extended hours and occasionally lift up to 25β50 pounds; a basic personal tool set is required.
Nice to have
- One year of experience participating in project or cross-functional teams.
- Experience with specialized equipment such as engine dynamometers.
- Familiarity with multimeters, power analyzers, welding, general fabrication, and combustion engines.
