(CAN) Maintenance Associate- Building (12-hour Continental Rotation)

Location: 360 Shipwill St, Maple, Ontario L6A 5E2, Canada. Onsite work in a distribution center on a 12-hour continental rotation.

Salary: Starting at $27.47/hour CAD.

What you will do

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on building systems and distribution-center equipment, including HVAC units, UPS, lighting, pallet wrappers, emergency generators, fire protection systems, MHE, overhead doors, dock plates, trailer restraints, and racking systems.
• Manage maintenance requests, work orders, schedules, and equipment history in the CMMS.
• Follow manufacturer instructions, provincial laws, regulatory requirements, company procedures, and lock-out/tag-out protocols.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Paint and refurbish racks, floor lines, doors, walls, and other building areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment, pressure-wash totes and skids, empty waste bins, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.

Requirements

• Experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a distribution center or industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical and control systems, sensors, PLCs, pallet wrappers, emergency generators, MHE, and general building maintenance.
• Familiarity with fire safety systems, emergency lighting, and inspection protocols.
• Ability to use and maintain power tools, hand tools, and repair equipment.
• Experience using CMMS to manage maintenance tasks and schedules.
• Must be at least 18 years old; commitment to workplace health and safety and knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures required.

Nice to have

• Diploma or certification in electro-mechanical, electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
