Cash Application Specialist (Finance)

Location: Remote opportunity associated with St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Working hours are flexible between 7:00am and 5:00pm. Home internet must use cable broadband or fiber optic service with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.

What you will do

• Apply ACH and check payments from clients to invoices.
• Prepare daily deposit reconciliations.
• Review, classify, research, and act on miscellaneous correspondence for Workers’ Compensation and Commercial business.
• Build and maintain relationships with client contacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to research and resolve issues.
• Complete additional projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of data entry and payment posting experience preferred.
• Banking and reconciliation experience preferred.
• PC skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to learn new software and manage a heavy workload.
• Strong documentation, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet departmental deadlines.
