Director of Development (College of Business)

Location: In-office in Stephenville, Texas; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or as work requirements indicate.

Salary: $53,745–$76,321 annual base salary, commensurate with experience and subject to funding availability.

What you will do

• Lead annual giving and major-gift fundraising for the Dr. Sam Pack College of Business.
• Evaluate the existing donor base and conduct prospect research to prioritize philanthropic opportunities.
• Partner with the dean and college leadership to align fundraising prospects with strategic priorities.
• Manage fundraising goals covering solicitations, closed gifts, donor engagement, retention, and new donor acquisition.
• Develop alumni-giving, donor-appreciation, stewardship, and donor-centric event strategies.
• Coordinate College of Business participation in presidential and major college events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of professional fundraising experience.
• Higher education fundraising or related experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with advancement leadership, the dean, faculty, alumni, donors, and foundation-relations staff.
• Employment is in-office in Stephenville, Texas.
• All positions are security-sensitive and require a criminal history investigation and verification of credentials.
