What you will do
- Lead and continuously improve the plant Quality Management System in line with customer, industry, and company standards.
- Serve as the primary customer quality representative and manage quality issues, audits, and corrective actions.
- Drive plant-wide improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and advanced problem-solving methods.
- Establish and enhance Statistical Process Control systems to improve capability, reduce variation, and strengthen product quality.
- Partner with production, engineering, laboratory, and supply chain teams to analyze quality data, reduce scrap, lower costs, and improve operational performance.
- Manage customer and supplier certifications, audits, PPAP submissions, compliance requirements, quality records, and document control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems, and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Expertise in SPC, APQP, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.
- Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence programs.
- Experience supporting customer audits, quality certifications, and quality issue resolution in highly regulated or automotive manufacturing environments.
