TL;DR
Operations Supervisor (E-Fulfillment): Managing day-to-day merchandise processing across multiple departments in a fulfillment network with an accent on inventory accuracy, staffing, service levels, and productivity. Focus on coordinating warehouse workflows, resolving operational issues, developing staff through coaching, and meeting multi-shift distribution goals.
Location: eFC Plainfield (0836), United States; onsite. Available shifts include Friday–Sunday overnight shifts and Monday–Thursday overnight shifts.

What you will do
- Manage workflow across several fulfillment departments in partnership with department supervisors.
- Maintain inventory accuracy standards and monitor service-level and accuracy performance.
- Coordinate with business partners to resolve issues and improve operational service.
- Plan dynamic staffing and manage teams to achieve productivity, cost, and unit goals.
- Lead, coach, and provide performance feedback to direct reports while improving associate engagement.
- Plan and monitor activities across business units and oversee assigned projects through completion.
Requirements
- Prior experience managing teams in a distribution warehouse environment.
- Working knowledge of automated distribution, warehouse systems, and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
- Strong interpersonal communication and team collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to support multi-shift operations and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, stand or walk for shifts of at least nine hours, and perform frequent physical movements including climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Nice to have
- Experience with Lean techniques or process and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience interpreting and managing operational data.
- 1–2 years of experience with WMS, WCS, LMS, or similar operational support systems.
- Experience with automated material handling equipment and SQL.
- MBA or equivalent experience.
