What you will do

• Build relationships with financial advisors, customers, and internal business partners throughout the insurance application process.
• Answer questions, provide application updates, and explain coverage considerations and underwriting decisions.
• Review preliminary inquiries, insurance applications, and customer information to assess eligibility and coverage options.
• Evaluate financial, health, and occupational information using company guidelines and training.
• Gather outstanding information, resolve issues, and collaborate with medical, technical, operational, and external teams.
• Ensure accurate, timely, compliant decisions while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
• Proficiency with computers and various software packages.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in both team-based and independent production environments.
• Successful completion of any required testing.
