Senior Quality Engineering Specialist (Manufacturing): Improving supplier quality systems, incoming inspection, audits, and product quality for energy equipment with an accent on APQP, PPAP, process audits, and manufacturing quality metrics. Focus on resolving supplier and plant-level quality issues, developing inspection plans, analyzing defect data, and driving continuous improvement in fabrication and welding.
Location: Eagle, Wisconsin, USA; onsite role

What you will do
- Improve supplier quality systems and performance while establishing supplier expectations with sourcing, purchasing, and corporate quality teams.
- Lead the resolution of supplier, plant, and product quality issues, including audits and nonconformance investigations.
- Support PPAP and manage new-part qualification through APQP, including Control Plans and PFMEA.
- Coordinate supplier quality, rework, and scrap data for Cost of Quality metrics and lead defect-reduction initiatives.
- Develop inspection sampling plans, support product identification and traceability, and ensure test and inspection integrity through MSA and GR&R.
- Act as a SAP Super User and deploy standardized quality tools, methodologies, and standards.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment using APQP, Control Plans, and PFMEA.
- At least five years of quality assurance experience in a plant or supplier quality role.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and manufacturing or quality metrics interpretation skills.
- Regular standing, walking, computer-based work, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds are required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Certified Quality Engineer or Technician, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, or Certified Quality Auditor credentials.
- Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP, Lean principles, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Fabrication and welding experience or CWI certification.
