Location: Hard Rock Metropolitan Park Hotel & Casino; on-site construction and field execution required

Owner/developer organization delivering a $9B+ integrated resort development with a casino, hotel, mixed-use program, structured parking, infrastructure, roadway improvements, and transit station renovation.
What you will do
- Lead structural design management for steel, cast-in-place and precast concrete, and curtain wall/façade systems from concept through construction documents.
- Coordinate consultants, delegated design, design-assist processes, value engineering, constructability reviews, and technical risk mitigation.
- Develop procurement strategies, lead prequalification and bid evaluation, and support contractor selection and trade contract formation.
- Oversee shop drawings, submittals, mockups, fabrication schedules, long-lead materials, logistics, and site sequencing.
- Represent the Owner during construction, monitoring progress, resolving field issues, and ensuring quality, safety, inspection, testing, and commissioning requirements.
- Manage structural package schedules, budgets, forecasts, changes, risks, stakeholder coordination, executive reporting, and mentoring of junior staff.
Requirements
- 12–20+ years of experience in large-scale construction and development.
- Significant experience managing structural steel, concrete, and curtain wall scopes on complex high-rise or large mixed-use projects.
- Deep knowledge of structural systems, façade performance requirements, delegated design, design-assist delivery, fabrication, logistics, and field installation.
- Experience managing complex multidisciplinary interfaces, contracts, commercial matters, stakeholders, and risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required.
- Owner/developer or owner’s representative experience is preferred; mega-project experience involving projects of $1B+ is strongly preferred.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Advanced degree.
