Director, Global Sourcing (Retail)

What you will do

• Lead strategic planning and development of the global sourcing platform to support high-quality products and positive margin growth.
• Coordinate Merchandising, Planning and Allocation, IT, Finance, Vendors, Legal, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Manage sourcing strategy, calendar milestones, and delivery execution for assigned product categories.
• Negotiate costs and oversee supplier performance, product quality, packaging, and on-time shipments.
• Lead change management and implement new sourcing initiatives and processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on direct importing processes and strategy.

Requirements

• Significant experience using business acumen, market intelligence, and strategic insight to drive business impact.
• Ability to assess and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
• Experience with supplier management, cost negotiations, sourcing calendars, quality production, and shipment execution.
• Experience hiring and leading diverse teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
