MGA Contract Brining/Production Underwriter

Location: Onsite in Marlton, New Jersey or New York, New York

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Drive business sales, retention, client revenue growth, profitability, and satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with sales associates, underwriters, insurance company representatives, customers, and prospects.
• Solicit submissions, provide insurance coverage quotes, and place accounts successfully.
• Recruit, manage, train, and develop assigned client service and underwriting staff.
• Handle complaints and inquiries, escalate business problems and potential errors and omissions incidents, and collect unpaid receivables.
• Maintain required production levels and stay current on insurance products and industry trends.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, a carrier, or related business sales, including engagement with senior executives.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance coverages and products.
• Must hold or obtain Property & Casualty or appropriate business licensure.
• Experience developing and maintaining strong customer and prospect relationships.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• A college degree is preferred.
