Senior Water/Wastewater Conveyance Manager (Water Infrastructure)

Location: Atlanta or Columbus, Georgia, or Charlotte, North Carolina; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do

• Lead water and sewer distribution and collection system piping, pump station, and treatment plant projects.
• Manage projects across studies, detailed design, construction, and closeout using earned value management principles.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, GIS analysts, designers, CAD staff, and sub-consultants.
• Design and review engineering calculations, drawings, and reports, including sealing deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams while mentoring junior staff.
• Support business development through scope and fee preparation, proposals, marketing, and client service.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Georgia Professional Engineer license or ability to become registered within 6 months.
• Technical proficiency in hydraulics and applicable industry standards.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage project teams and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
