Location: Hybrid position based in Morristown, New Jersey, United States
Salary: $280,000β$325,000 annually

What you will do
- Develop and implement the medical affairs strategy for the Rare Disease team.
- Provide scientific leadership and therapeutic-area expertise across internal and external audiences.
- Engage key opinion leaders, medical influencers, advocacy partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Oversee congress planning, medical education, scientific communications, and publication strategy.
- Lead medical and scientific training for Medical, Commercial, and Market Access teams.
- Drive real-world evidence, investigator-initiated studies, collaborative research, and cross-functional medical planning.
Requirements
- MD degree and at least 7 years of progressive pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs.
- Experience with strategic accountability and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, market access, commercial, and ethical requirements, including FDA, OIG, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable medical and business insights.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Rare Disease experience.
- Experience in hepatology, gastroenterology, or immunology.
