MGA Contract Binding/Production Underwriter - Property & Casualty

What you will do

• Drive business sales, client retention, existing-client revenue growth, profitability, and satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with sales associates, underwriters, insurance company representatives, customers, and prospects.
• Solicit submissions, prepare insurance coverage quotes, and place accounts successfully.
• Recruit, manage, train, and develop assigned client service and underwriting staff.
• Handle complaints and inquiries, and communicate business problems and potential errors and omissions incidents to branch or division management.
• Collect unpaid receivables, use the company accounting system, and maintain required production levels and current knowledge of insurance products.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, with a carrier, or in related business sales, including engagement with senior executives.
• Must hold or obtain Property & Casualty and/or appropriate business licensure.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance coverages and products.
• Experience building and maintaining strong customer and prospect relationships.
• Strong problem-solving, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• College degree preferred; ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels.
