Water/Wastewater Conveyance Project Manager

Location: Atlanta or Columbus, Georgia, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work

What you will do

• Lead complex water and sewer distribution, collection system piping, and pump station projects from concept through completion.
• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects using earned value management principles.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, GIS analysts, designers, CAD staff, and sub-consultants.
• Design and review engineering calculations, and seal drawings and reports.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, project teams, and clients’ staff to maintain quality and continuity.
• Support business development through scope and fee preparation, proposals, marketing, and client service.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Georgia Professional Engineer license, or the ability to become registered within 6 months.
• Technical proficiency in hydraulics and relevant industry standards.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
