Financial Analyst (Inventory Valuation)

Annual base salary gross: $60,000–$65,000

What you will do

• Create detailed and dynamic Excel models to analyze and value inventory.
• Work with valuation directors to assess inventory under orderly liquidation scenarios.
• Analyze inventory, sales, gross margin, and expenses across companies and industries.
• Perform detailed inventory and sales reconciliations using large databases.
• Communicate with company management and coordinate project status with managers and valuation directors.
• Manage multiple assignments and maintain organized working documents in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least two years of financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills and strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex quantitative ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
