What you will do
- Execute regression, functional, and automated test procedures and suites.
- Write and run tests to validate products and firmware on CPE devices.
- Develop QA testing philosophies, methodologies, strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Configure and maintain QA labs and testing environments.
- Collaborate with product, development, QA, and software engineering teams to clarify requirements and reproduce and document defects.
- Document and communicate test summary results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 3–5 years of related experience, including 3+ years developing and implementing test plans and test cases.
- Knowledge of wireless networking, WiFi 802.11 standards, access point configuration, IP addressing, DHCP, and basic networking.
- Understanding of network management protocols including SNMP, TR-069, WEBPA, and TR-181.
- Experience with packet capture and analysis using Wireshark or TCPDump.
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, HP ALM, Jira, and Rally.
Nice to have
- CWNA certification.
- Experience with Perl, TCL, or Python scripting.
- Knowledge of Selenium, QTP, Java, and basic Shell/CLI commands.
