MGA Contract Binding/Production Underwriter - CAT, Wind, Construction

What you will do

• Drive business sales, client retention, account placement, profitability, satisfaction, and organic revenue growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with sales associates, underwriters, insurance company representatives, customers, and prospects.
• Solicit submissions, provide insurance coverage quotes, and successfully place accounts.
• Recruit, manage, train, and develop assigned staff, including monitoring work and managing performance.
• Handle complaints and inquiries, escalate business issues and potential errors and omissions incidents, and collect unpaid receivables.
• Maintain required production levels and stay current on insurance products, offerings, and industry trends.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, carrier, or related business sales, including engagement with senior executives.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance coverages and products.
• Must hold or obtain Property & Casualty and/or appropriate business licensure.
• Experience developing and maintaining strong customer and prospect relationships.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
