TL;DR
Senior Signature/Data Analyst (MDA Flight Test Targets): Supporting target analysis products for MDA flight tests, including trajectories, flight scenarios, debris scenes, and mission data products with an accent on sensor exploitation, geodesy, and accurate 24-hour quick-look analysis. Focus on developing and integrating target analysis, deploying to test missions, and preparing technical recommendations and briefings.
Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Travel of up to 15% is required.

What you will do
- Develop, integrate, analyze, and document target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission MDA flight-test activities.
- Plan test activities and recommend team assignments for mission support.
- Develop target-vehicle trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes.
- Deploy to test missions and produce Target Best Estimated Trajectory, Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time products within the required 24-hour quick-look timeframe.
- Participate in target development and readiness reviews, providing technical analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare technical reports and briefings on flight-test targets.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of War security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with 20 or more years of experience, or a master’s degree with 12 or more years of experience.
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: trajectory or kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, and geodesy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Nice to have
- B.S. or M.S. degree in engineering or physics.
- Experience leading sub-teams and resolving technical problems independently.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Matlab, TAOS, or STK.
- Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems, or hypersonic weapons.
