What you will do

• Create high-quality in-game cinematics using motion capture and hand-key animation.
• Drive the cinematic process from script interpretation and scene layout through final game-engine implementation.
• Collaborate with Animation Directors, Lead Animators, and other departments to match the game's vision and cinematography style.
• Refine body and facial performances to produce lifelike, engaging scenes.
• Participate in feedback sessions, present work, and incorporate constructive critique.
• Track progress in Jira and Flow, report status, and address delivery roadblocks.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience creating cinematic animation for games.
• Advanced knowledge of Maya.
• Strong understanding of animation and camera principles.
• Ability to work with motion capture and hand-key techniques.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and mentor junior artists.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Insomniac proprietary tools.
• Experience with MotionBuilder and Adobe Premiere.
• Knowledge of state machine flow in a game engine.
