EMT (Overnight)

Location: hirify.global Orlando, United States; onsite overnight shifts from 9 PM to 7 AM, up to two nights per week, including weekends

hirify.global operates an animal rescue and entertainment park focused on caring for animals and creating experiences for park guests.

What you will do

• Provide emergency medical care to park guests and ambassadors and respond to medical emergencies throughout the park.
• Assess injuries and illnesses, administer appropriate treatment, and complete medical and workers compensation paperwork.
• Provide ongoing care for ambassadors with workers compensation injuries and coordinate appointments and treatment with physicians.
• Teach safety and prevention practices and report hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Check safety and rescue equipment daily and participate in department training and drills.

Requirements

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR healthcare provider card (HCP) required.
• Relevant local or state EMT or Paramedic Certification required.
• At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of related BLS patient-care experience, excluding volunteer work.
• Ability to respond to patient needs, make sound decisions, communicate with doctors and insurance representatives, and complete medical calculations.
• Availability for weekends, evenings, overnight shifts, and holidays; ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
