QA/QC Inspector (Semiconductor Construction) (Semiconductor and cleanroom construction): Performing field inspections and verifying materials, installations, testing activities, and project documentation for compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and client requirements with an accent on piping, mechanical and electrical utilities, cleanroom systems, and semiconductor facility infrastructure. Focus on identifying deficiencies, documenting nonconformances, tracking corrective actions, and completing turnover and closeout records.
Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; full-time onsite

What you will do
- Perform receiving, pre-installation, in-process, final, turnover, and closeout inspections.
- Verify materials, equipment, workmanship, installations, and testing against drawings, specifications, codes, standards, submittals, and client requirements.
- Inspect piping, valves, mechanical and electrical systems, utilities, cleanroom systems, equipment skids, and related facility infrastructure.
- Witness pressure tests, leak tests, flushing, cleaning, functional checks, and other project-specific testing activities.
- Prepare inspection reports, checklists, photographs, punch lists, deficiency reports, testing logs, and corrective-action records.
- Reinspect corrected work and support turnover packages, audits, client reviews, and project closeout.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical or associate-level education in construction, engineering technology, quality, or a related field is preferred.
- At least two years of QA/QC inspection, construction inspection, field quality, MEP, manufacturing, facility, or infrastructure experience.
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, P&IDs, isometric drawings, submittals, and technical procedures.
- Working knowledge of Inspection and Test Plans, checklists, Nonconformance Reports, RFIs, method statements, quality plans, and project records.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document-management systems.
- Ability to work full-time onsite, conduct frequent site walks, access active construction and cleanroom areas, and wear required personal protective equipment.
Nice to have
- Experience with semiconductor fabs, cleanrooms, chemical distribution, process piping, gas systems, DI water, UPW, wastewater, tool installation, or MEP systems.
- Familiarity with IBC, IFC, NEC, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, or SMACNA standards and codes.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or Smartsheet.
- Quality, inspection, welding, piping, electrical, construction, or OSHA certification.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese communication skills.
