Sr. Project Manager – Water, Wastewater, and Reuse Master Planning (Water Infrastructure)

Location: Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville, Florida; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work

What you will do

• Lead integrated water, wastewater, and reuse master planning studies for municipal and county utilities from kickoff through closeout.
• Manage hydraulic modeling and planning workstreams supporting master plans and utility design projects.
• Coordinate local and national specialists across planning, funding, design, and treatment disciplines.
• Serve as a client-facing project manager in RFQs, interviews, and strategic client engagements.
• Support business development by shaping capture strategies, writing technical sections, and leading proposal development.
• Provide senior technical direction, mentor staff, and ensure quality, schedule, budget, and delivery performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Active Professional Engineer license with the ability to practice in Florida, or ability to obtain Florida licensure within 6 months.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience, including independent decision-making on engineering problems and methods.
• Project management experience delivering hydraulic modeling and/or utility master planning for water, wastewater, and reuse systems.
• Ability to lead teams and manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client communication.

Nice to have

• Established relationships with Florida municipal and county utility clients.
• Experience combining planning, modeling, and phased capital program development.
• Experience with Autodesk, Bentley, or Aquanuity hydraulic modeling platforms.
• Experience integrating GIS data into planning and modeling workflows.
• Experience supporting RFQ/RFP pursuits and growing a planning program through client engagement.
