TL;DR
Director, Strategy & Operations DSDH (AI): Developing strategic content, external insights, and leadership narratives connecting data science, AI, and digital health work with the life sciences ecosystem, with an accent on trend synthesis, executive communication, and stakeholder positioning. Focus on translating external signals into actionable strategy, building case studies and thought leadership, and aligning messaging across internal leadership and enterprise partners.
Location: Hybrid role based at U.S. locations in Cambridge, Massachusetts; La Jolla, California; New Brunswick, New Jersey; Spring House, Pennsylvania; or Titusville, New Jersey
Base pay: $164,000–$282,900 per year

What you will do
- Develop and curate strategic content from internal deliverables, partner outcomes, publications, and thought leadership.
- Monitor external trends across data science, AI, and digital health in the life sciences.
- Translate market trends and external discourse into actionable insights for DSDH leadership.
- Build case studies and strategic narratives for internal leadership, enterprise partners, and other stakeholder groups.
- Connect DSDH initiatives with broader industry developments and emerging conversations.
- Partner with the internal strategy Director and maintain stakeholder mapping to align communications and positioning.
Requirements
- Master’s degree preferred, or PhD, in Life Sciences, Computational Biology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, or insight-driven roles in healthcare, life sciences, or technology.
- Strong biological and/or computational background with the ability to engage deeply with AI and data science topics.
- Deep familiarity with the external AI and data science landscape.
- Strong synthesis, storytelling, and executive communication skills.
- Consulting experience, especially with digital, AI, or analytics strategy practices, is strongly preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience producing thought leadership, strategic content, or industry-facing insights.
- Experience with innovation ecosystems, partnerships, or industry forums.
- Familiarity with governance and responsible innovation principles.
