Foreman/Superintendent (Foundations)

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States. Onsite construction-site role with 50% travel within the Upper Midwest and occasional weekend work.

What you will do

• Manage daily site activities for foundation projects in line with safety, design, budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Directly supervise lead personnel and field staff at project sites.
• Coordinate workforce, equipment, material requirements, and project needs with General Superintendents and crews.
• Schedule and monitor subcontractors and participate in pre-construction and ongoing job-site meetings.
• Lead hazard-awareness meetings, stretching sessions, toolbox talks, and corrective actions for workplace hazards.
• Maintain daily logs, equipment and material schedules, timecards, and reports on safety issues, damage, and injuries.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience overseeing crews installing deep foundation systems, including piledriving, micropiles, caissons, and helical piles.
• At least five years of experience with foundation or ground-improvement equipment such as drills, concrete pumps, and batch plants.
• Ability to oversee multiple jobs while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule standards.
• OSHA 30-hour, HAZWOPER, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to read construction plans, specifications, reports, policies, and legal documents; use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, iPad, and iPhone.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check, and willingness to join the union are required.
