What you will do
- Generate advertising revenue by working with established agencies and prospecting new clients.
- Grow revenue consistently and exceed assigned revenue goals.
- Build relationships with the local business community and manage assigned accounts.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations explaining the value of television and multi-platform advertising.
- Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel.
- Collaborate with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
- At least one year of sales experience, preferably in the media industry.
- Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to reach them.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
