Project Support Manager (Energy)

Location: Hiawatha, Iowa, United States; full-time on-site with 10% travel required

What you will do

• Lead integrated product teams spanning Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Business Development.
• Manage product and system lifecycle activities from pursuit and order capture through design, development, and transition to production.
• Own program cost, schedule, technical performance, risks, opportunities, dependencies, and integrated master schedules.
• Coordinate technical requirements, systems integration, verification, manufacturability, testability, documentation, and production readiness.
• Manage subcontractor scope and serve as the primary point of contact between hirify.global and subcontractors.
• Support customer relationships, proposal activities, executive presentations, status reviews, quality standards, certifications, and regulatory approvals.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person: US citizen, US permanent resident, or protected person.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in Engineering and Operations.
• Experience managing technical cost, schedule, and performance using earned value metrics.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, hardware/software integration, and the full product lifecycle.
• Knowledge of defense contracting processes, ITAR and EAR export control regulations, and contractual compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, including scheduling, dependencies, resource loading, and staff loading.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy-sector customers and knowledge of power systems, grid technologies, or renewable energy solutions.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and external customers.
