What you will do
- Repair dies and make adjustments to run them according to customer standards.
- Troubleshoot tooling conditions in a production setting.
- Perform die set operations and preventative maintenance on metal stamping dies.
- Complete quality checks and other assigned duties.
- Complete required training provided by and its customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sheet metal stamping facility.
- 1–2 years of experience with large transfer and progressive dies.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. frequently, depending on rework requirements.
- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours and walk around the facility to assist with seat build and rework.
- Ability to work the second shift in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Nice to have
- Journeyman Tool and Die Card from the Department of Labor.
