Financial Advisor-MFDA/AMF (Truro - Amherst - Antigonish - New Glasgow) (Financial Advising): Building and growing client portfolios through relationship management, financial planning, investments, lending, and estate planning with an accent on tailored advice, client service, and local business development. Focus on developing client relationships, converting leads, supporting multiple banking centres, and strengthening community connections through events and outreach.
Location: On-site full-time at Truro-813 Prince St., with flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance

What you will do
- Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
- Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, financial planning, and estate planning.
- Develop sales plans based on the local market and convert leads into new client relationships.
- Use credit and investment solutions to deliver needs-based recommendations, referrals, and business results.
- Represent CIBC at local events and participate in marketing and community outreach activities.
- Work banking centre hours that may include evenings and weekends, and support multiple nearby locations.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
- Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course.
- Eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
- For Quebec-related licensing: current AMF accreditation, CIFC or CSC completion, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
- Legally eligible to work at the specified Canadian location and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.
- Strong client engagement, relationship-building, networking, business development, and results-oriented skills.
