What you will do
- Support import operations according to company procedures and policies.
- Route, trace, and monitor shipments to ensure timely inbound deliveries.
- Update reports, create unload priorities, and prepare volume summaries for inbound operations.
- Collaborate with Merchandising and vendors to resolve shipment and booking issues and reduce supply chain disruptions.
- Maintain data integrity across supply chain operating systems.
- Support yearly contract planning with ocean carriers, intermodal providers, and drayage companies.
Requirements
- Ability to execute and maintain import policies and operating procedures.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and origin offices on shipment bookings.
- Ability to perform general office functions, including sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
