TL;DR
IT Client Engineer (AI Robotics): Building and operating Figure's endpoint, identity, and client-side infrastructure across macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu environments with an accent on device hardening, zero-touch provisioning, and identity lifecycle automation. Focus on enforcing security controls across factories and low-connectivity sites, integrating applications with Okta, and replacing manual IT operations with Python, Bash, or PowerShell automation.
Location: San Jose, California, United States; 5 days per week in-office

What you will do
- Own zero-touch enrollment and reproducible workstation builds across macOS, Windows 11 Pro, and Ubuntu LTS.
- Translate CIS Benchmarks into enforced configuration profiles and osquery posture validations.
- Operate FleetDM, maintain patch compliance, and deploy CrowdStrike Falcon across the endpoint fleet.
- Build hardened device programs for factories, contract manufacturers, and low-connectivity field sites, including encryption, conditional access, remote wipe, and recovery.
- Integrate applications with Okta using SAML and OIDC, and automate provisioning, entitlements, and deprovisioning across Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.
- Develop Python, Bash, and PowerShell tooling, manage SaaS and access audits, document standards and runbooks, and mentor Operations Specialists.
Requirements
- Production experience managing macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu LTS endpoint fleets.
- Hands-on experience with FleetDM or comparable osquery-based tooling, Apple Business Manager, and Windows Autopilot or Microsoft Intune.
- Experience converting CIS or similar security benchmarks into enforced and validated configuration policies.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell, with experience eliminating manual processes through automation.
- Working knowledge of SAML, OIDC, SCIM, authentication, RBAC, and API-driven identity and SaaS administration.
- Strong judgment, documentation discipline, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers, or other high-IP-risk environments.
- Familiarity with export control, data residency, and IP protection frameworks.
- Experience with employee-built AI applications, EDR deployments, SaaS API integrations, Linux engineering workloads, or new-site IT setup.
