Process Engineering Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Yankton, South Dakota, United States. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR requirements.

What you will do

• Support and sustain automated and semi-automated manufacturing and test equipment, including TM-500 automation, winders, robots, and OGP/Keyence inspection systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, motion, and control-system issues; replace or repair components and verify equipment operation.
• Support equipment setups, changeovers, qualification runs, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities.
• Document recurring problems and fixes, update troubleshooting guides, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with automation improvements, fixture and tooling upgrades, sensor changes, error-proofing, and kaizen activities.
• Maintain work instructions, setup sheets, checklists, 5S standards, and training documentation; provide off-shift or on-call support when required.

Requirements

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Ability to assemble, disassemble, debug, and problem-solve equipment.
• Good mechanical and electrical skills; knowledge of electronics manufacturing and quality requirements is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, electrical panels, production noise, extended standing or walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Must follow site EHS and LOTO requirements and wear required PPE.
