TL;DR
Safety Lead - Semi. Construction (Semiconductor Construction): Supporting field safety execution for a semiconductor construction project with an accent on contractor compliance, OSHA requirements, hazard identification, and incident prevention. Focus on conducting site inspections, managing safety controls for electrical work, confined spaces, chemicals, gases, heavy equipment, and cleanroom activities, and coaching contractors and project teams.
Location: Boise, Idaho, United States; onsite semiconductor construction project.

What you will do
- Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Support JHA/JSA processes, safety orientations, permits, toolbox talks, and contractor safety requirements.
- Monitor OSHA compliance and safe work practices across construction activities.
- Identify unsafe conditions, track corrective actions, and support incident investigations.
- Provide field safety coaching to employees, contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and project teams.
- Maintain safety records, reports, training documentation, and corrective-action logs while supporting controls for electrical work, confined spaces, chemicals, gases, heavy equipment, and cleanroom activities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of construction or industrial EHS/safety experience.
- OSHA 500 certification is required.
- OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour Construction training are required.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards, JHA/JSA, contractor safety, hazard recognition, and incident investigation.
- Strong communication, safety coaching, documentation, and corrective-action follow-through skills.
- Ability to support overtime, weekend work, or shift coverage when required.
Nice to have
- Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, chemical/process, or large construction projects.
- OSHA 510, CHST, CSP, HAZWOPER, or other relevant safety certifications.
