Focus on managing complex government contracts, coordinating cross-functional engineering organizations, and driving risk, resource, budget, and compliance decisions across multiple programs.
Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; based at the corporate headquarters

What you will do
- Lead and oversee the engineering program portfolio across multiple contracts.
- Own program execution, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance.
- Partner with the Chief Engineer and engineering teams on cost, schedule, technical, quality, and customer objectives.
- Manage program risks, resources, operational performance, contractual requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Support business development, capture activities, proposals, pricing, contract transitions, and strategic growth.
- Build executive-level customer relationships and mentor engineering leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience managing complex engineering, aerospace, aviation, or Department of War programs.
- At least 7 years of leadership experience managing multiple programs, portfolios, or technical organizations.
- Experience with program budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, government contracts, subcontractors, customer relationships, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting business development, capture efforts, proposal development, and program transitions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP or DAWIA Level III Program Management certification.
- Experience supporting programs for NASA, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the Missile Defense Agency, or other federal agencies.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
