What you will do

• Lead and facilitate sitewide safety, health, and environmental compliance training, programs, and activities.
• Monitor environmental, health, and safety regulations and legislation, and implement programs to maintain compliance.
• Set site SH&E goals and objectives aligned with global and regional standards.
• Develop and manage SH&E improvement plans, metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage the identification, investigation, recording, and reporting of undesired SH&E events and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Supervise and develop professional, technical, and support employees while supporting the Responsible Care® Management System and RC14001® requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree in environmental or safety engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and safety sciences, practices, and national and local regulations.
• Leadership, planning, organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Conversational and written fluency in English.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and negotiate with external stakeholders.
