Software Engineer II, Channels (Fullstack)

Location: Toronto, Canada

Salary: CA$142,538–CA$235,736 gross annual base salary; expected OTE of CA$156,000–CA$258,000 per year, including performance-based compensation.

What you will do

• Build and scale hirify.global’s SMS and RCS messaging channels.
• Own product capabilities across message composition, sending, responses, and analytics.
• Develop supporting Chat messaging services, including click tracking and link shortening.
• Ship high-value fullstack features from concept through delivery.
• Own key technical areas, solve open-ended problems, and improve platform dependability as traffic grows.
• Collaborate across teams and functions while communicating with peers and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Professional experience building distributed systems at scale.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a self-starting approach.
• Previous experience working effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, or TypeScript.
• Experience with agile processes.
