Location: Phoenix, AZ; full-time onsite in active construction, cleanroom, industrial, semiconductor, and high-tech facility environments

What you will do
- Perform receiving, pre-installation, in-process, final, turnover, and closeout inspections against approved project requirements.
- Inspect materials, equipment, piping, mechanical and electrical systems, utilities, cleanroom systems, and completed installations.
- Verify drawings, specifications, submittals, codes, workmanship, dimensions, routing, supports, labeling, cleanliness, and material traceability.
- Witness and document pressure tests, leak tests, flushing, cleaning, functional checks, and other required testing activities.
- Identify deficiencies and incomplete work, prepare punch-list items, and track corrective actions through reinspection and closure.
- Coordinate with QA/QC management, project teams, subcontractors, vendors, third-party inspectors, and client representatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical training, trade education, or an associate degree is preferred.
- At least two years of QA/QC inspection, construction inspection, field quality, MEP, manufacturing, facility, or infrastructure experience.
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, P&IDs, isometric drawings, submittals, and technical procedures.
- Working knowledge of Inspection and Test Plans, checklists, Nonconformance Reports, RFIs, method statements, quality plans, and project records.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document or construction-management systems is also required.
- Must be able to work full-time onsite, conduct frequent site walks, access inspection areas safely, and wear required personal protective equipment.
Nice to have
- Experience with semiconductor fabs, cleanrooms, chemical distribution, process piping, gas systems, DI water, UPW, wastewater, tool installation, or MEP systems.
- Experience reviewing material certifications, weld records, calibration records, pressure-test packages, inspection packages, and turnover documentation.
- Familiarity with IBC, IFC, NEC, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, or SMACNA standards and codes.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Smartsheet, or similar systems.
- Quality, inspection, welding, piping, electrical, construction, OSHA, or safety certifications; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
