Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer (Power Systems)

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; onsite

Salary: $160,600–$237,300 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement test plans and test cases for new and existing products.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, supporting test methodologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with hardware design, test system design, data analysis, troubleshooting, and production teams.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, failure root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain automated test systems and scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering.
• Strong background in test systems and equipment, electronic systems, and power system protection products.
• Experience leading and mentoring test engineers or test technicians.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, electronic, electrical analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools and methodologies, including CpK analysis.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
