Manager, Temperature Strategy & Execution EMEA (Cold-Chain Logistics)

Base pay: €79,800–€137,770 annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute the temperature strategy and governance roadmap for Clinical Supply Chain.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of passive shipping solutions, including qualification, supplier oversight, deployment, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee Temperature Out of Range processes, investigations, deviations, CAPAs, escalation, closure, and trend analysis.
• Serve as a subject matter expert during audits, inspections, and compliance assessments while maintaining GxP compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Temperature Strategy & Execution team, including resource allocation and succession planning.
• Advance digitization, automation, analytics, and continuous improvement across temperature-controlled distribution.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Logistics, Quality, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, temperature-controlled logistics, clinical supply chain, packaging engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
• Proven experience supervising, coaching, and managing team performance.
• Expertise in cold-chain distribution, passive shipping systems, and transportation risk management.
• Experience in regulated environments and supporting audits and inspections.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Nice to have

• APICS, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification.
• Quality assurance experience in pharmaceutical, clinical supply, logistics, or distribution environments.
• Experience with advanced therapies, temperature-sensitive products, supplier qualification, vendor management, and global process governance.
