UX/UI Designer (Angular/React/Vue): Designing user-centered interfaces, prototypes, design systems, and reusable frontend components for modern Java-based web applications with an accent on usability, accessibility, responsive design, and human-computer interaction. Focus on translating user and business needs into intuitive experiences, developing reusable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code, and balancing technical constraints across design and development teams.
Location: Onsite in Ashburn, Virginia; applicants must currently reside in the United States

What you will do
- Research user interactions, habits, workflows, and usability issues.
- Develop UI and UX strategies based on business goals and user needs.
- Create wireframes, mockups, clickable prototypes, interface design files, and reusable design systems.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code for modern Java-based web applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, UX/UI designers, and development teams on requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and apply user-centered design, accessibility, responsive design, and usability principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years of experience.
- 5+ years developing applications with modern JavaScript libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience with Java-based web applications, Node, Git, command-line tools, and code review practices.
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Sass/Less, and CSS preprocessing tools; knowledge of Pug and Babel.
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Mock Plus, Axure, InVision, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- A portfolio demonstrating JavaScript proficiency, interface design, clickable prototypes, and SOLID design principles.
Nice to have
- Preference for Angular experience in Java-based web application environments.
- Experience maintaining reusable UI components, style guides, and design standards.
- Strong ability to balance user-centered design with technical and development constraints.
