Location: Mesquite, Texas, United States; course delivery includes travel to locations across the nation and online.

Salary: $5,833.34 per month

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service provides emergency response training, workforce training, and technical assistance through the Texas A&M University System.

What you will do

• Coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety Program course activities.
• Deliver course presentations and demonstrations using teaching aids.
• Apply adult learning theories and learning styles to support learner success.
• Coordinate with host agencies and assigned support staff.
• Arrange and undertake travel connected with course delivery.
• Complete additional program duties independently under the direction of the EHS Training Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of related environmental, health, and safety experience.
• Two years of adult education or training experience, including knowledge of training concepts and programs.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one within 180 days of employment.
• Equivalencies may include an applicable associate’s or bachelor’s degree combined with reduced related experience; all qualifying experience must include two years of adult education or training.
