Automotive Technician (Production 1st shift 6am-3pm)

Location: Austin North, 13300 North I-35 Service Road South, Austin, Texas 78753; onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Hourly rate: $18.00–$43.20, plus commission eligibility.

What you will do

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to hirify.global safety, quality, and reliability standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and complex mechanical and electrical repairs involving engines, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and other systems.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings and completed work accurately.
• Repair or replace trim, seals, panels, and other vehicle components.
• Assist with wheel alignment, suspension work, and performance diagnostics while developing technical independence.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area while collaborating with teammates to meet production goals.

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate automotive repair experience, including engines, brakes, suspension, or HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and compliance standards.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity, including the ability to lift, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license required.

Nice to have

• ASE certifications in applicable areas such as steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, engine repair, drivetrain, engine performance, and automatic transmission, where required by state or local law.
